How does Dankore Vault work? The 4 steps to get started

Pay for a plan, open our invitation email, choose your master password, and install the free Bitwarden app. That is all.

Getting started takes four steps. Most people finish in about fifteen minutes.

Step 1: Choose a plan and pay

Pick a plan on our pricing page.

• Personal is $5 a month. You get one vault with every feature, including emergency access.
• Family is $10 a month. Up to 6 people each get their own private vault, plus one shared folder called "Family shared".

Taxes may be added, depending on where you live. There is no free trial. If you would like us to do everything with you, we offer in-person setup for $199, once.

Step 2: Open the invitation email

Within a few minutes of paying, we send you an email.

• On the Personal plan, it is called "Join Dankore Vault".
• On the Family plan, each person gets one called "Join Sam's family", with the payer's name.

1. Open the email.
2. Press the Join button.

If you cannot find it, check your spam or junk folder. You can also read the invitation email did not arrive.

Step 3: Choose your master password

After you press Join, you are asked to choose your master password. You type it twice to make sure it is right.

This password opens your vault. Only you know it. Not even Dankore can see it or reset it. That is what keeps your vault safe.

Step 4: Install the free Bitwarden app

You use your vault through the free Bitwarden app. It is made by Bitwarden, Inc. We are not part of Bitwarden.

When the app opens, you tell it to use our server instead of Bitwarden's. Our step-by-step guides show you how:
